MOBISUN-350 — Hybrid Solar + 350W Propane Fuel Cell Trailer

MOBISUN-350

Hybrid Solar + 350W Propane Fuel Cell Clean Power Trailer

High-Power, Cold-Climate Reliability for Wind Lidar and Beyond

About MOBISUN-350

The MOBISUN-350 hybrid clean power trailer is the next step up in autonomous clean power. It integrates a 2.3 kW solar array, a 20 kWh battery bank, and a 350W propane Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) into a rugged trailer platform. Engineered for multi-year campaigns and extreme cold climates, it is the reliable, diesel-free alternative for ZX300 and WindCube lidars, met towers, telecom towers, and security systems.

Why MOBISUN-350?

More Power, More Resilience — 350W SOFC output with double the battery capacity of the MOBISUN-125.

Lower Total Cost of Ownership — stack life of 10,000–15,000 hours reduces replacements and service costs.

Cold-Climate Ready — water-free SOFC stack means no freeze risk at –40 °C.

Multi-Application Flexibility — runs lidar, met masts, telecom nodes, or security systems with ease.

Months of Autonomy — fueled by propane tanks (4 × 100 lb standard, expandable to 8).

Clean & Silent Operation — zero NOx/SOx, near-zero CO₂, and no noise.

Remote Intelligence — LTE/Starlink dashboards with GPS and optional PTZ camera integration.

Proven Rugged Design — 14 ft trailer with insulated aluminum housing, built for transport and rapid deployment.

Wind Lidar Specific Features

MOBISMART has designed features specific to accommodate wind lidars that can be powered by the MOBISUN Hybrid Clean Power Trailers to make these autonomous power supply plug-n-play for rapid deployment in the field.

ZX300 Wind Lidar-Specific

SCAME 24VDC plug on front panel for direct Lidar connection

Shrouded UV-resistant CAT6 cable with watertight Ethernet port to modem

Solar array does not obstruct 30° ZX300 Wind Lidar beam on the tongue

Aluminum housing protects ZX300 during transport

Pre-cut tongue plate holes match ZX300 specifications for mounting on tongue

Met station relocated to top of solar array on 2-axis bracket for clear wind readings

WINDCUBE Lidar-Specific

SOURIAU 24VDC receptacle with 20 ft cable for flexible mounting
Shrouded UV-resistant CAT6 cable with watertight Ethernet port to modem

Solar array does not obstruct WindCube Lidar beam on extended tongue

DC-to-DC converter provides stable power for optimal performance

More Than Hardware — A Smarter Investment

The MOBISUN-350 is built for developers and operators who can’t afford downtime:

De-risks long-term campaigns by ensuring uninterrupted lidar uptime

Lowers operating expenses through longer stack life and propane logistics

Supports ESG goals by eliminating diesel

Proven in the field on multi-year deployments in the harshest conditions

MOBISUN-125 vs MOBISUN-350 — Which is Right for Your Wind Lidar?

Both the MOBISUN-125 (Methanol) and MOBISUN-350 (Propane SOFC) are engineered to keep ZX300 and WindCube Lidars running 24/7, even in harsh off-grid environments. But depending on your campaign length, location, and reliability needs, one may be a better fit.

Both trailers power ZX300 Wind Lidar and WINDCUBE Lidar

Choose MOBISUN-125 for shorter projects where portability and methanol supply are convenient.

Choose MOBISUN-350 for multi-year, cold-climate, or mission-critical deployments where reliability and lower lifecycle costs matter most.

What’s Different from MOBISUN-350 HELI?

The MOBISUN-350 HELI shares the same SOFC fuel cell, 20 kWh battery bank, and electronics as the MOBISUN-350. The key differences are:

No integrated solar array — pairs with a stand-alone basket and pole-mounted system.

Lightweight galvanized frame, built for helicopter lift.

No VIN, license plate, or lights — not for public roads.

Engineered mobility: balanced center of gravity allows one-person movement on site.

Pole-mounted solar array avoids snow burial.

Snow Snorkel system ensures fresh air intake even if the trailer is buried in snow.

D-rings and welded pickup points for safe aerial deployment.
