Our Legacy of Innovation

Our story began long before the world talked about “clean tech.”

Since the 1970s, as EfstonScience – The Science & Astronomy SuperStore, we introduced Canadians to renewable energy through solar panels, educational experiment kits, and scientific instruments.
Decades later, EfstonSolar brought that vision to life by designing and installing nearly 100 rooftop PV systems across Ontario for residential and municipal projects — including one of Canada’s first hybrid solar/wind streetlights.

Always pushing boundaries, we developed a Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) as an innovative approach to hybrid power generation. Our research confirmed what we long suspected: in northern climates, solar alone cannot sustain year-round autonomy.

As fuel cell technology matured, it became the perfect complement — clean, reliable, and maintenance-free.     Mobismart is headquartered in Canada and serves customers throughout North America—all Canadian provinces and territories and all US states. Our products are engineered specifically for harsh North American climates, with cold-weather operation to -40°C for Canadian and northern US deployments. Approximately 60 Mobismart hybrid systems are currently deployed across diverse locations including remote northern sites, mountain installations, and coastal environments.

Our certified technicians commission all systems and provide operator training. Ongoing support includes MOBICARE™ remote monitoring, scheduled maintenance programs, and responsive service for any issues. We partner with clients throughout the system's operational life.
